A MURDER investigation has been launched after a body was found in a well in Warlingham this afternoon (Friday).
Police were called to the discovery outside an address in Audley Drive at around 1.50pm.
The Met Police's Homicide and Major Crime Command is investigating.
The body, which is an adult, is currently unidentified. It has not been disclosed whether it is a male or female.
The Met says a post mortem examination will be arranged "in due course".
