A WOMAN was arrested at Gatwick for allegedly trying to smuggle around £800,000 worth of cocaine into the UK.
Jacqueline Miller, 49, of Livingstone Road, Blackburn, appeared at Croydon Crown Court on Monday charged with attempted importation.
Officials from the UK Border Force are investigating the incident - the haul is believed to equate to around 8 kilos of cocaine.

"We are determined to protect society from this activity which can have such a destructive impact on communities as well as individuals."
Miller was remanded in custody and will next appear at Croydon Crown Court on September 16.
