CRYSTAL Palace winger Jerome Thomas says the team are getting to know each other's game in the way boss Ian Holloway is planning to play in the Premier League. The new signing is getting ready to play in Saturday's pre-season friendly at Dagenham & Redbridge and enjoyed their recent trip to Portugal. "Every day in training it's going to take time but that's what it's about, you get to learn each other's game and know each other's movements," Thomas told the Croydon Advertiser. "It wasn't too tough in Portugal because it was early in pre-season and we've still got a good month until the season starts, and also the Palace players finished later so they had a shorter break than everyone being in the play-off final. "It wasn't crazy, it was just to get the legs going and to get to know the lads. "We had a few team-building sessions and it was just the gaffer planting the seeds of how he wants us to play this season. "There was a lot of team shape and watching a lot of videos – I think he just wants to get us on the same page."Don't miss the extended interview with Thomas in tomorrow's Croydon Advertiser.
