A SCOOTER-rider has been taken to hospital with leg injuries after crashing with a car in South Croydon.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Brighton Road and Upland Road at around 4.45pm today.
The man, thought to be in his twenties, was airlifted to East London Hospital.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing, a Met police spokesman said.
The spokesman added the driver of the car remained at the scene. Enquries are ongoing.
Brighton Road around Upland Road remained closed at around 6.45pm.
Bus routes 60, 166, 312, 407 and 466 are being diverted.
