JONNY Williams has admitted he sees his future in central midfielder after starting Monday's play-off final on the left wing, but insisted he "just likes being on the pitch".
The Wales international admitted he was ready to move into the middle after Kagisho Dikgacoi picked up an injury after just 16 minutes but hailed the impact of substitute Stuart O'Keefe.
"Maybe it did cross my mind about tucking into central midfielder, but Stuart came on and he was awesome," Williams told Advertiser Sport.
"I've played with him in the reserve team when I was around 15 or 16-years-old in central midfield and he was great then.
"I hope I do end up a bit more central in the future because I played there when I was younger."Don't miss our exclusive interview with Williams in Friday's victory pull-out in the Croydon Advertiser.
