PALACE defender Peter Ramage has revealed he has signed a new two-year deal with the club, just weeks before his existing deal was set to run out.
The 29-year-old was given a one-year contract last summer, but the former Newcastle United man exclusively told Advertiser Sport he was offered new terms two weeks ago, and he was delighted to get it sorted quickly.
"I've got to thank the gaffer for that because he was instrumental in it," Ramage said.
"He just wanted me to get it done, but whether I'm part of his Premier League plans I don't care, but I hope I am.
"I love it down here."Read the exclusive interview with Ramage on his new deal and life down in the south east in Friday's Croydon Advertiser.
