A 14-YEAR-OLD girl has been rushed to hospital with a serious arm injury after being hit by a car in Selhurst.
Full details of the incident are unclear but the collision occurred in Northcote Road at 6.15pm this evening (Thursday).
London's Air Ambulance was sent to the scene along with one ambulance crew and a duty officer.
In the last few minutes the girl, a pedestrian, has been taken by road to St George's Hospital in Tooting. She is being accompanied by the doctor from the Air Ambulance.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said the teenager was conscious and breathing.
Tram services had been suspended between East Croydon and Woodside but they have now resumed.
It is not clear whether there have been any arrests in connection with the incident.
