Crystal Palace sign trio on deadline day as Zaha comes home

0
0

WILFRIED Zaha has rejoined Crystal Palace on a permanent deal - two years after he left the club for £15 million to join Man Utd.

The 22-year-old winger has signed a five and a half year contract, after his loan deal was made permanent for a fee believed to be in the region of just £3 million.

Zaha was one of three players signed by Alan Pardew on deadline day, meaning the new Eagles boss has brought in seven new first-team squad players in total since taking over at the start of January.

Bolton's South Korean winger Lee Chong-Yung, 26, has signed on a three-year-deal, again for an undisclosed fee, while looking to the future, Palace also snapped up striker Keshi Anderson - who recently scored three goals in six minutes against the Eagles' under-21 side - from non-league Barton Rovers,

Earlier in the window, Pardew also brought in strikers Yaya Sanogo from Arsenal on loan and ex-Newcastle frontman Shola Ameobi until the end of the season; midfielder Jordon Mutch, from QPR; and Senegal international left-back Pape Souare, from Lille in France.

But it is the capture of Zaha, the hero of Palace's play-off semis and final in 2013, that has got the fans most excited.

He arrived back on loan in August, after failing to make inroads into the United first team. Zaha had been signed by Sir Alex Ferguson but, by the time he arrived at Old Trafford in summer 2013, the legendary manager had retired and David Moyes had taken over.

Moyes used Zaha sparingly (he never started a Premier League game for United) and he was loaned out to Cardiff for the second half of last season.

This summer, Zaha came back to Palace under Neil Warnock and, though he has yet to hit the heights of his first spell at the club, the man capped twice by England has shown enough to persuade Alan Pardew to bring him back for good.

Zaha told the official Crystal Palace website that coming home, back to the club who gave him his football education, felt good.

He said: "I started playing here when I was eight years of age and my family live local and to have the opportunity to take the field in the Premier League for this club is a dream come true."

Lee Chung-Yong moves to Palace after six years at Bolton, where he made 197 appearances in the Championship and, mainly, during the Trotters' stay in the top flight.i

He has also represented his country in two World Cups, scoring twice in the 2010 competition in South Afria, and has been capped 65 times by South Korea.

The winger suffered a broken leg in 2011, which has stunted his progress a little, and he joins Palace while still injured with a hairline fracture to his shin, which co-chairman Steve Parish told Holmesdale Radio might take four or five weeks to heal.

The Lee deal sees Barry Bannan moving the other way and joining Championship Bolton on loan.

Speaking to the Advertiser after the deal went through, Bannan explained that the chance to play under Neil Lennon was a big factor in his decision to move to Lancashire.

Bannan, 25, said: "We have been speaking to Bolton for a while now and my heart was set on going there. I have spoken to Joe Ledley about the manager Neil Lennon and I would really like to go and work under him.

"I love the Palace fans and I will be back to hopefully play, but I've got to do what's best for me at the minute and that's going out getting games permanently."

Of the other players to sign during the January window, Jordon Mutch and Yaya Sanogo have already made their bows, while Shola Ameobi is trying to get his fitness levels up having not played since his release from Turkish club Gaziantep in December.

"My contract got cancelled in Turkey and basically I spoke to Alan Pardew. He was very interested in bringing me to Palace and I was looking for a club, preferably a Premier League one," Amoebi explained.

"I want to get back to where I was at Newcastle in terms of quality and play at the highest level possible. Palace is just a great fit."

Crystal Palace 'offered to pay Emmanuel Adebayor £70k a week'

CRYSTAL Palace were so keen to land Emmanuel Adebayor on transfer deadline day that they offered to pay £70,000 a week towards his inflated wages, it has been reported.

The Daily Telegraph have reported that Palace were willing to foot the bill for 70 per cent of 30-year-old Adebayor's £100,000 a week pay packet.

QPR were willing to stretch to £60,000, according to the Telegraph, but the player rejected the moves to both Loftus Road and Selhurst Park, instead stating a preference to join London rivals West Ham.

However, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy blocked that deal so it now looks as if Adebayor will stay in north London until the summer at least.

More snow overnight in Surrey: WEATHER UPDATE 6.45am TUESDAY

SNOW has fallen overnight in Surrey, giving a covering in places - and more is on the way, forecasters warn. This morning (Tuesday, February 3) at 6.45am, commuters setting off for work opened front doors to find a quarter-inch covering of snow on roads and paths. Cars were covered and minor roads were rather perilous on slopes following overnight sub-zero weather.

At 7.30am it was still snowing lightly in Reigate. The A25 at Raikes Lane, Abinger Hammer, was partially blocked due to a one-car accident before dawn. Temperatures fell to -2.8C (27F) at Charlwood just after midnight but as the waxing gibbous moon turned hazy as cloud moved in from the north, temperatures rose to just below freezing.

Before daylight, light snow fell at Heathrow Airport and then Gatwick had a little, too, around 6am. People report that there is little snow in Dorking but it was quite heavy at 7am on the Hogs Back coming out of Guildford.

The Met Office said that after another frost tonight, there could be some showers of rain, sleet or snow tomorrow with most of any snow on the Surrey hills and Croydon hills.

In December, Coulsdon weatherman Ian Currie issued his year-long forecast for 2015, saying that the first two weeks of February would be very cold with frost and some snow and so far, his predictions have been most accurate.

LATEST WEATHER: 'Dreadful traffic' in Surrey after morning snow

0

SURREY roads are suffering as a result of the light snowfall this morning and gridlock conditions are being reported at 8am. The M25 is said to be bumper-to-bumper all the way from junction 8 at Reigate Hill to Chertsey. The A3 is seeing drivers queuing virtually all the way from Hindhead to Wisley and the tunnel at Hindhead was closed for a time about 7am. The A24 between Leatherhead and Epsom is at a crawl, too. New Road, Chilworth is impassable because of ice and snow so villagers cannot get to the A25 at Shere. There is only a light dusting of snow in South Croydon where most fell about 2am. Bursts of heavier snow were reported at 8.10am in Reigate; the snow covering side roads but not main roads. The Met Office said it did not expect significant falls of snow today. However, as most people in Surrey know, it only takes a slight snowfall to cause drivers to reduce speed on roads already congested, therefore causing bunch-ups resulting in gridlock conditions. 8.20am UPDATE: Snow getting heavier at Reigate. Queues on M25 between Clacket Lane and Godstone. Queues also on A217 Reigate Hill. Succombs Hill, Whyteleafe closed due to ice and snow and a possible accident nr Wapses Lodge.

CROYDON residents woke up to a blanket of snow this morning - but, if you're a fan of the white stuff, make the most of it.

The forecast suggests there will be no more flurries today or for the rest of the week, meaning you'd better get in quick with those snowball fights and a lunchtime spot of sledding.

In fact, temperatures for the rest of the week in Croydon are expected to reach a mild 6 or 7 degrees, with calm, dry conditions in prospect.

Family of missing soldier from Norbury renew appeal for him to come home

THE family of a young Norbury soldier missing for three weeks have renewed their appeal for him to come home.

Steven Mubanga, a trainee British Army soldier, was last seen on January 11 when he left his home in Kilmartin Avenue, Norbury, to get a train to his Yorkshire barracks.

But the 20-year-old has not been seen since and police believe he never boarded the train.

Today Karen Guirhil, Steven's aunt, appealed for Steven to contact his family and to let them know he is safe.

Ms Guirhil said: "Steven's got such a good future ahead of him and this is just completely out of character for him. He's such a fun-loving, caring, committed and responsible person.

"Even when he's away and misses a call from me, he'll send me a text or message on Facebook to say sorry and that he'll call back soon. I'm just really worried that we've not heard any news from him at all and just want to know that he's safe.

"Steven, if you're reading this and you think that you're in any kind of trouble, then whatever it might be, I know that we can work it out together. I'm so proud of you and your cousin is missing you like crazy as well. We just want to know that you're ok so please, please get in touch."

Steven is a black man of medium build with short black hair. He is around of 5ft 10ins tall. Steven wears black, square-rimmed glasses and often wears a baseball cap.

He was last seen wearing a grey, black and white hooded top, dark blue jeans, a black and green baseball cap and white Nike Air Jordan basketball trainers. He was carrying a JD Sports bag and a back pack.

Steven has links to the Croydon, Norbury, Camberwell and Streatham areas.

Anyone with information on Steven's whereabouts should contact police on 101, or call the Missing People charity on 116 000. His family have set up Facebook and Twitter pages to try and find him.

FAN VIEW: Alan Pardew and Steve Parish have got this transfer window spot on

Over the past few seasons it's come as no surprise that on Deadline Day, Palace love a mad, panic-buying spree. A late rush of blood to the head sees us pick-up some cheap(ish) bargains in a hurry that even contestants of Dale Winton's Supermarket Sweep would struggle to match.

This time last year we made five signings on D-Day and good ones at that.

That's why this deadline day has been such a surprise to me, but one I am very pleased about. There was no need to sit glued to the TV awaiting news of a signing, news of even a car entering the car park at the training ground; we got our act together this time round to ensure a relatively stress-free final day.

Before today we'd already made an impressive five signings.

Pape Souare was announced on Friday, a Senegalese international, who when I asked Pardew what he's like, said, he could follow in the footsteps of Mathieu Debuchy and Yohan Cabaye. An exciting prospect? Whatever happens, it will be nice to actually see a naturally left-footed player play in the left-back role; it's been a while.

Add to this another midfielder with a beard in the form of Jordon Mutch and a player with bags full of Premier League experience in Shola Ameobi. Admittedly, he isn't the player he was a few seasons back but he'll be a great character around the dressing room for our youngsters.

Arsenal youngster Yaya Sanogo became the second Arsenal player to sign (albeit on loan) for Palace in the space of six months. If he turns out to be great, we're first in line to snap him up; if he's a flop our escape plan is already in motion.

It's business that has been well thought out and makes perfect sense to a club in our position.

We're even signing players for our Under-21 development side on Deadline Day! Whilst Real Madrid announced the signing of 16-year-old Norwegian wonder-kid Martin Odegaard last week, we've signed our own, 18-year-old Andreas Breimyr – although we're probably not paying him £80,000 a week.

In the final hour the club confirmed the signing of Lee Chung-Yong on a three-and-a-half year deal, which also saw Barry Bannan go the opposite way on loan until the end of the season. It's a shame Bannan hasn't got more game time but I think he'll do very well at Bolton and when he comes back will be challenging more for his place.

Did I forgot to mention my excitement over Glenn Murray's contract extension too?

And what about Wilfried Zaha signing a five-and-a-half-year deal. A superb piece of business.

I think with all our signings we are making great progress for the future. Signing internationals from respectable European teams, buying experience at this level and taking risks with youngsters but being cautious at the same time.

We really are trying to establish ourselves as a Premier League club and it's enjoyable to watch it unfold.

People carrier over turns in Purley

A PEOPLE carrier flipped onto its side in Derwent Drive, Purley this morning.

No-one was hurt in the incident at 8.30am but the entrance to the road was closed at the junction of Buttermere Garden. Police said main roads have remained open.

Police, London Ambulance Service and firefighters from Purley Fire Station were called to the scene. A firefighter from Purley said the car slid down the road, hit the kerb and rolled onto its side.

Eyewitness Alan Barnes said the car was driven by local parents, who only wanted to be identified as Andrew and Chris.

Mr Barnes said the driver lost grip on the steep hill of Buttermere Gardens.

He said: "Their car slid sideways into a tree before turning over and colliding into a parked car. With concerns of potential fuel spillage, local residents and other drivers worked together to help the occupants get out safely.

"The Ambulance, Police and the Fire Brigade services all arrived quickly to make the scene safe. Despite the unfortunate damage to the parked vehicle, it stopped the car from rolling further and possibly sliding down the road.

"Both occupants were shaken but relieved to be out of the over-turned car."

THE fifth annual Crystal Palace Beer Festival has been announced but the date will be moved if the club reaches the FA Cup Final.

The event has been tentatively scheduled for cup final day on Saturday, May 30, from 12-7pm in the Holmesdale Road stand at Selhurst Park.

The event is sponsored by Cornish brewery Sharp's and features more than 150 beers, ales and ciders.

There will be live bands and pub food, while all attendees will receive a special commemorative glass.

Palace co-chairman Stephen Browett said: "It's a great day out, with top-quality beer, live music, a great atmosphere and it's in a football stadium with the Cup Final on the screens."

Thornton Heath church leader repents 'rebellion' against fellow pastor

A CHURCH leader has publicly apologised for being "in rebellion" against a fellow clergyman.

Pastor Clement Okusi, of Potter's House Christian Church, in Thornton Heath, has admitted speaking "words of disrespect, dissension and rebellion" against Pastor Nigel Brown, of Potter's House, Walthamstow.

He has agreed to a series of punitive conditions in order to keep his position, including being banned from preaching outside the church for a year.

The long-running dispute, the exact nature of which is unclear, came to a head when Pastor Okusi appeared before the Potter's House Board of Elders, in Arizona, United States, on January 13.

According to a letter seen by the Advertiser, which was written following the mediation meeting, Pastor Okusi was accused of "attitudes, statements and actions that stretch back several years".

He wrote: "It is my desire to repent completely and, in order to do so, I acknowledge that I have operated as an independent man, and been in rebellion against my Pastor Nigel Brown.

"I have spoken words of disrespect, dissension and rebellion, to my pastors and other people.

"I have made rebellious statements about various leadership decisions and stands, and statements against Pastor Mitchell [the founder of Potter's House] and leadership. I fully repudiate all such harmful statements."

Pastor Okusi, who is known for his work turning young people away from gangs, said he had agreed to a number of conditions "in order to remain as pastor of Potter's House in Croydon".

They include immediately resigning as a member of the church's UK executive committee, and changing his branch's charity numbers "to once again bring myself and the Croydon congregation under the submission" of that organisation.

He also agreed to change his church's company number in order to make it "accountable". A new board will be installed at Potter's House Croydon to increase "transparency".

Pastor Okusi has also agreed not to preach outside his church for one year and to amend the "non-compliant and unacceptable" tithe and report policy at the branch he founded in 2001.

He adds: "I vow before God that I will not seek retribution against those Croydon pastors who raised concerns, or spoke against my actions. If I do so they have the right to seek covering from Pastor Brown and the Walthamstow congregation.

"I acknowledge that anyone under my ministry has the right to seek redress if they feel I have been unrighteous and overbearing in my ministry or treatment of them."

The church leader also made a "solemn vow" not to remove Potter's House, in Bensham Road, from the fellowship.

Pastor Okusi declined to comment when contacted by the Advertiser, and Pastor Brown has not responded.

VIDEO: Watch the crazy moment a Kenley man drove NINE miles the WRONG WAY down the M25 and A2

A KENLEY man who drove for NINE miles the wrong way down the M25 and A2 in Kent has been jailed.

Mitchell Locke, 20, drove his black BMW 120d anti-clockwise on the clockwise section of the M25 shortly before 2.30pm on September 4.

Numerous people called 999 to report drivers having to move out of the way of Locke's car around junction 4.

The vehicle came off the motorway at the Swanley Interchange, before rejoining the carriageway and continuing the wrong way to junction two.

The BMW came off at the Darenth Interchange, continuing the wrong way by heading east, towards Canterbury on the A2.

Locke, of Bourne Park Close, then exited at the busy Bean interchange heading directly into oncoming traffic trying to join the A2 before he finally collided with a Suzuki Swift and a Nissan Leag at 2.39pm.

Locke was sentenced on Friday (January 30) at Dartford and Gravesham Magistrates Court after pleading guilty to dangerous driving.

He will serve a 14 month sentence in a young offenders' institute and was also banned from driving for three years.

He will also need to take an extended driving test before he is allowed to get behind the wheel again.

Sergeant Rob Dell, of Kent Police's Roads Policing Team, said: "For around 10 minutes, Locke travelled the wrong direction on a major motorway and a major dual-carriageway.

"Where there was no hard shoulder he would move out into the live carriageway into oncoming traffic. It is remarkable there were no serious injuries."

Plans for Waddon flyover linking Croydon and Sutton unveiled by Transport for London

0
0

TRANSPORT for London and Croydon Council have unveiled two options for proposed changes to the main road route linking Croydon and Sutton.

TfL says the plans for Fiveways and the surrounding road connections will reduce congestion along Purley Way and improve the area for bus users, pedestrians and cyclists.

One of the options is a plan to build a new road, cycle and pedestrian flyover across the railway line near Waddon Station, linking Duppas Hill Road with the A232 Croydon Road.

The other proposal involves widening Epsom Road so that traffic from Sutton travels past Waddon Station rather than Stafford Road.

Members of the public have been asked to give their views on the options through a consultation on TfL's website. TfL say a more detailed proposal on the chosen option will then be developed.

It is hoped that work will be underway during winter 2018, with the new road layout to be finished by 2020.

TfL says it is contacting residents and businesses whose property might be affected by either proposal.

Councillor Kathy Bee, cabinet member for transport and environment, said: "Croydon residents are all too familiar with how busy Fiveways can be, especially during rush hour.

"These proposals will tackle congestion and deliver big improvements on managing traffic in that area.

"They will also provide new cycle lanes, more accessible pedestrian crossings and widened footways in some places, whilst also providing opportunities for improved public space and helping to improve bus services.

"Purley Way is one of Croydon's main routes, so we'd really like people to give their views on these proposals and help shape how we transform this busy part of our borough."

Alan Bristow, TfL's director of road space management, said:"The Purley Way bypass along the A23 is 90 years old this year and, in that time, the area around this vital main road has been completely transformed by new retail areas and houses.

"These new proposals for the Fiveways junction will allow the area to continue to grow, while also improving it for current residents and businesses."

An online survey and full consultation will now be open until March 15, and can be visited here. In addition, the options will be on display at Waddon Leisure Centre on Saturday, February 7 from 9am until 1pm and on Wesdnesday, February 11, from 4pm until 8pm.

Another public display will take place at Croydon Clocktower on Thursday, February 12 from 10am until 2pm.

Mr Bristow said: "We look forward to hearing people's views on these exciting new plans, which form part of our £4bn Road Modernisation Plan to transform London's roads and urban realm and support the growth of the capital's economy and population."

The first proposal involves building a flyover linking Duppas Hill Road with the A232 Croydon Road

Crystal Palace scrap compulsory £100 food and drink scheme following fan backlash

0
0

CRYSTAL Palace have scrapped a plan to introduce a £100 compulsory catering charge for season ticket holders in certain blocks.

The club are now looking at an alternative plan after fans put pressure on the club on forums and Twitter.

While the majority of season ticket prices at Selhurst Park were frozen for the 2015/16 season, a £100 levy was to be introduced for those who sit in the Stanley Stephenson and Malcolm Allison lounges.

The money would have been placed on season ticket cards and could be redeemed for food and drink throughout the course of the next campaign.

The reason for the scheme, Browett previously explained, was to speed up the service in these areas.

But following a strong response from the fans, co-chairman Stephen Browett told members of Palace forum the BBS the unpopularity of the charge has led to the club to drop it.

Browett wrote: "We are very sensitive to the arguments put forward and the last thing that we wanted to do was upset supporters who use this part of the stadium.

"We are meeting this afternoon with key staff to discuss this issue and will do our best to keep everybody happy."

Browett said they would come up with an alternative plan.

Barry Bannan: I love the Palace fans but I need Bolton game time

PALACE midfielder Barry Bannan says he's hopes to have another chance at the club despite departing on loan to Bolton Wanderers for the rest of the season.

The Scottish international moved to the Macron Stadium on transfer deadline day, which saw Lee Chung-Yong move in the opposite direction, albeit a permanent one.

It has been tough for Bannan during his time at Selhurst Park since his move in the summer of 2013, playing 27 times in all competitions.

"I am looking forward to going out and getting games under my belt, it will be a good challenge for me and hopefully I can do well," he exclusively told the Advertiser.

"There have been a few managers in my time at Palace, so it's been stop-start, stop-start, so I just need to go and get some matches.

"I love the Palace fans and I will be back – hopefully to play – but I've got to do what's best for me at the minute and that's going out and getting games regularly."

Investigation under way as elderly patient dies days after Croydon University Hospital drug error

0
0

AN INVESTIGATION is under way after drugs were incorrectly administered to a elderly hospital patient, who later died.

The blunder, which occurred at Croydon University Hospital in November, has been classed as a 'never event' - an incident so serious it should never happen.

Health experts are exploring whether the mistake had any role in her death eight days later.

A separate investigation has been considering the same question following the death of another elderly woman who passed away after being given a drug she had a "documented" allergy to last June A report into her death has yet to be completed.

The latest incident is mentioned briefly in documents to be discussed at a Coydon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) board meeting held on Tuesday.

It said the mistake, originally defined as a "serious incident", had been escalated to a never event.

Croydon Health Services (CHS), the trust which runs the hospital, said it had apologised to the patient and her family.

Steve Ebbs, medical director, said: "The never event raised in November relates to a patient whose drugs were incorrectly administered.

"We gave our heartfelt apology to the patient and his family at the time and we are now investigating how this happened.

"This patient was an elderly woman with underling health conditions but, as this investigation is ongoing, we cannot release any further details."

CHS says the hospital has performed better than the national average for "harm-free care" since April 2014.

There have, however, been several patient deaths in the aftermath of clinical errors.

In June, an elderly woman was given four doses of Tazocin, an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections, even though her medical records showed she was allergic to the drug.

The patient subsequently developed a fatal skin condition and died. An investigation was expected to have finished shortly after the incident was first reported by the Advertiser in August, but this week CHS said the report was awaiting final approval by the CCG.

In October, a senior staff member at the hospital leaked details of a series of serious incidents involving patients being given the wrong type of food.

In the most serious example a patient in his early 70s, on liquid diet, died after being fed solid food by staff.

In another case a man who was 'nil by mouth' went into respiratory arrest after being given soup, though he later recovered.

The errors were caused by forms being filled in incorrectly and, in once case, a sign containing dietary information fell behind a patient's bed.

A safety alert sent to staff, and leaked to the Advertiser, said a "trend" of patients being fed incorrect diets had resulted in "severe and catastrophic consequences".

CHS said it has completed investigations into each incident and improved the way it feeds patients on restricted diets.

Following the latest 'never event' Mr Ebbs said: "We will always thoroughly investigate any serious incidents where our patients have not have received the high standards of care that we expect.

"This includes never events, which should not occur if the right safeguards are in place.

"It is important, not just for the trust but across the NHS, that we learn from these to put the right measures in place."

The November investigation followed ten serious incidents at the hospital in October, including three falls, one collapse after surgery, one surgical error, one unexpected death and the death of a child. The trust said investigations were underway.

Troubling times

THE 'never event' is the latest in a number of troubling incidents at Croydon University Hospital:

JULY 2014: A man in his 60s is fed soup despite being on a 'nil by mouth' diet. He passed away two months later.

SEPTEMBER 2014: Patient chokes after being fed solid food when doctors had prescribed a puree diet. He died around a week later. Another patient on a puree diet is accidentally fed a sandwich but recovers.

OCTOBER 2014: Family, friends and supporters of terminally ill Marcus Campbell stage protest outside hospital after being told he will not be resuscitated if he goes into cardiac arrest.

NOVEMBER 2014: Employment tribunal rules hospital sacked a senior doctor for raising safety concerns following the death of a patient.

JANUARY 2015: Hospital becomes first in London to declare an "internal major incident" due to huge demand for services.

U21 Development League

Palace 3-0 Millwall

NEW signing Keshi Anderson scored on his U21 debut for Palace on Tuesday, just 24 hours after putting pen to paper on a deal from non-league Barton Rovers.

The young Eagles comfortably beat south London neighbours Millwall 3-0 at Tooting and Mitcham's KNK Stadium.

And the likes of Adrian Mariappa, Brede Hangeland and Paddy McCarthy were all give run-outs from the start to form a strong backline alongside.

McCarthy was also on target as was striker Fisayo Adarabioyo.

Gary Issott's side took the lead early on when Sonny Black found Adrian Mariappa, whose ball into the box wasn't cleared properly and the it fell to Adarabioyo to power home.

Jamie Philpot thought he had equalised for the Lions after goalkeeper Chris Kettings had pushed away an effort from Ben Thompson but it was ruled out for offside.

Early on in the second half, Millwall went down to ten men when skipper Thompson was sent-off for a lunge on Black.

Palace doubled their lead around the hour-mark when Reise Allassani's corner was met at the near post by McCarthy to head past Tom King.

Jacob Berkley-Agyepong went close in twice in quick succession but King denied him, before putting the rebound for the second chance over from close range.

In the final stages and Palace grabbed a third when Mariappa combined with Allassani on the right and his delivery from volleyed in by Anderson to score his first for the Eagles.

Anderson had previously scored a quickfire hat-trick against Palace when on trial at Brentford recently, but now he seems to be the Eagles' gain.

Palace: Kettings, Egbo (Magri 78), McCarthy, Hangeland, Mariappa, Allassani, Black, Boateng, Berkley-Agyepong, Ferrier (Dymond 74), Adarabioyo (Anderson 57). Subs not used: Croll, Sow.
